1. What materials are heat wraps made of?
Heat wraps are made from cloth-like materials called “non wovens” and are the same materials used in disposable products like diapers and feminine hygiene pads.
2. What is the shelf life of heat wraps?
3 year.
3. How long can I wear heat wraps?
For 8 hours type, do not wear for more than 8 hours in any 24-hour period. For 12 hours type, do not wear for more than 12 hours in any 24-hour period.
4. What is the contraindications of heat wraps?
Heat wraps should not be used by individuals who are insensitive to temperature extremes, such as those with circulatory problems, diabetes, nerve damage, paralysis or sensitive skin. Adult supervision is required when treating children.
5. What are the warnings and precautions I should take care of?
This product can cause burns.
Keep out of reach of children, infants and animals. Do not microwave.
(1) This product is disposable.
(2) This product may cause itchy skin, skin pinkness or minor skin burn for people with sensitive skin or misused.
(3) Do not wear while sleeping.
(4) Check skin frequently (around every one hour) during use .
(5) Ask a doctor before use if you have diabetes, poor circulation or heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis or are pregnant .
(6) If you find irritation or a burn, remove product immediately.
Each cell contains iron which can be harmful if swallowed. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water and call a Poison Control center right.
(7) If heat pad contents come in contact with your skin or eyes, rinse right away with water. Never heat product in microwave or attempt to reheat as heat pads could catch fire.
(8) Dispose of waste according to local regulations.
(9) The temperature and heating time of this product will vary depending on the use environment, and the heating effect may be affected when the ambient temperature is too low.
-When using this product
(1) If you feel the temperature uncomfortable, notice irritation, rash or burns, remove the product immediately.
(2) If product feels too hot- stop use or wear over clothing.
(3) Do not apply additional pressure to the product and do not wear tight clothing over the product. Make sure that some air can always get to the heat wraps.
(4) Remove product before MRI examination.
Do not use
(1) If heat cell contents leak and/or wrap is damaged or torn.
(2) For more than 8 hours in a 24-hour period.
(3) With pain rubs, medicated lotions, creams or ointments.
(4) On unhealthy, damaged or broken skin.
(5) On areas of bruising or swelling that have occurred within 48 hours.
(6) On areas of the body where you can’t feel heat.
(7) With other forms of heat.
(8) On people unable to remove the product, including children, infants, and some elderly.
(9) On people unable to follow all use instructions.
Stop use and ask a doctor
(1)If pain worsens or persists for more than 7 days.
(2)If you experience any discomfort, burning, swelling, rash or other changes in your skin that persist where the wrap is worn.
